Fire Oak Backyard BBQ Throwdown

Get ready for a day of smoke, flavor, and friendly competition at Fire Oak Distillery as we host our Fire Oak Backyard BBQ Throwdown — a celebration of backyard pitmasters and great BBQ.

This competition is designed for the backyard cook, not the professional circuit. Local BBQ enthusiasts will fire up their smokers and grills to compete for bragging rights, trophies, and the title of Backyard Pitmaster.

Teams will compete in three delicious categories:

+Chicken
+Pork
+Beef

Competitors are free to choose the specific cut they want to cook within each category, allowing pitmasters to showcase their creativity and cooking style.

The best part? You help decide the winners.

Guests can purchase a tasting wristband and sample BBQ from competing teams, then cast their votes for People’s Choice in each category. Every bite helps crown the champions of the day.

While you enjoy the competition, relax with our award-winning Texas spirits, take in the beautiful hill country views, and enjoy live music by The Decades from 2:00–5:00 PM. Their mix of classic favorites and crowd-pleasing tunes will keep the atmosphere lively throughout the afternoon.

Whether you’re a backyard pitmaster ready to compete or a BBQ lover ready to taste and vote, the Fire Oak Backyard BBQ Throwdown promises a fun day of great food, good company, live music, and plenty of smoke in the air.
